Question about Pompano Beach High School?

I live in Pompano beach, Fl and i will soon be a junior at Blanche Ely High School. I messed up my freshman year and i am now missing credits, so my gpa is currently a 1.8 (weighted). I want to transfer to Pompano High because it is a much better school. Can i simply attend, or do i need a 2.5 gpa first? (a 2.5 gpa is required for you to remain the school. PLEASE HELP!
